Road Safety Week - 17th to 23rd November 2014

Road Safety Week is the UK's biggest road safety event, coordinated annually by Brake (the road safety charity) and involves thousands of schools, organisations and communities each year.

This years theme is “Look Out For Each Other”

In this year’s Road Safety Week, people are being asked that everyone look out for each other on our roads, because being selfish can easily lead to tragedy.

Drivers in particular are called upon to protect people on foot and bike by slowing down to 20 in communities, looking longer, and taking it slow at junctions and bends, and giving people plenty of room.

Everyone can put safety first and be considerate to one another, encouraging people on foot and bike to never take chances, and make sure they can be seen. Help spread the word. You can get more information from the Road Safety Week website.
