North West

Welcome to the page for the Neighbourhood Watch (NW) Network group for the North West (NW) of Ipswich, which covers the Ipswich Borough wards of Castle Hill, Whitton & Whitehouse.

Currently there are 25 Neighbourhood Watch Schemes in North West Ipswich.

If you would like more information about Neighbourhood Watch or how to set up a Scheme for your road please use the contact form below. The North West of Ipswich is mainly residential and includes several schools, industrial areas, allotments and parks.

The purpose of Neighbourhood Watch in this area is to reduce crime, by exchanging information with the North West Safer Neighbourhood Team of the Suffolk Constabulary and to liaise with all other levels of Neighbourhood Watch.

All the Scheme co-ordinators and a local Officer from the NW Safer Neighbourhood Team meet once every three months at Castle Court to discuss current issues in the area and to distribute and collate information to pass on to the Ipswich Area Network Forum. This consists of representatives of all areas of Ipswich and the Suffolk Constabulary District Commander and meets at Landmark House once every three months.

The North West Network Co-ordinator is Ivan Rooke.

Comprising just over 25 neighbourhood watch schemes, this group meet every quarter.
